The new “10+2” Importer Security Filing requirements proposed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires importers to provide 10 data elements 24 hours prior to loading cargo onto a U.S. bound water-borne shipping vessel, and 2 additional messages from their carriers within 48 hours of vessel departure.
Landed Cost Calculations
Accurately calculates landed cost for a shipment, including applicable duties, fees, and taxes, based on the origin and products in a shipment. Accommodates additional cost types, including royalties, commissions, and freight rates.
Pre-Entry Facilitation
The TradeBeam Import Management solution checks that all required product and order details are available to produce the entry file. When data are missing, the system issues alert prior to the arrival of goods at port. The system also provides the broker a pro forma version of the customs entry document to use as a base document for entry.
