TradeBeam Introduces Updated i-Supply Solution for Comprehensive Supply Chain Management
Alerts accelerate supply chain processes to increase visibility and maximize efficiency
SAN MATEO, Calif. – October 6, 2009 – TradeBeam, the leader in SaaS-based global trade management solutions (GTM), today launched i-Supply 7.5, the latest version of its collaborative inventory management product. By utilizing new alert features integrated in the latest version of i-Supply, businesses can increase supply chain visibility and accelerate management processes to maximize efficiency.
TradeBeam’s i-Supply 7.5 includes Late Deliveries and Lean Logistics order alerts, as well as new visual Stock-out and Promise indicators. All of these alerts help businesses avoid administrative confusion between plants and suppliers, and all can be set up for delivery to a user’s e-mail or mobile phone.
- Late Delivery Alert: This alert warns buyers that orders they have placed with a supplier for a specified delivery date have not yet been received at the delivery site. Buyers can then quickly investigate the delay and avoid manufacturing downtime.
- Lean Logistics No Order Alert: This alert proactively notifies the supplier when no requirements for a given trading lane are generated for their predetermined order schedule because the buyer has enough material in the pipeline. This reduces time consuming phone calls and emails to the customer inquiring about missing orders that were expected.
- Additional, Enhanced Color-Coded Stock-out and Promise Indicators: i-Supply 7.5 includes new visual stock-outage and promise indicators, so businesses can easily identify which items have reached stock-out status.
