TradeBeam buys Open Harbor’s assets

Global trade management software maker TradeBeam Holdings, Inc., of San Mateo, says it’s bought the assets of software maker Open Harbor, Inc., of San Carlos. Open Harbor made software to manage international trade logistics.

Terms of the deal between the two privately held companies were not disclosed.

“Open Harbor brings strong technology and a solid customer base,” says Graham Napier, president and CEO of TradeBeam. Mr. Napier says the two companies’ products are highly complementary.
